The Boy Scouts of America is one of the nation's largest and most prominent values-based youth development organizations. The BSA provides a program for young people that builds character, trains them in the responsibilities of participating in citizenship, and develops personal fitness and leadership skills.
Boy Scouting, one of the traditional membership divisions of the BSA, is available to boys who have earned the Arrow of Light Award and are at least 10 years old or have completed the fifth grade and are at least 10, or who are 11, but not yet 18 years old. The program achieves the BSA's objectives of developing character, citizenship, and personal fitness.
If you are a boy between the age of 11 (or 10 and have finished the 5th grade) and 17 - The adventure of Boy Scouts is open to you.
Troop 11 offers an active outdoor program ranging from beginning level camping to high adventure backpacking and watersports (e.g. Philmont, Northern Tier, Sea Base, etc.). We provide a wide-ranging program that appeals to all ages and skill levels throughout the year. Contact our Scoutmaster or Committee Chairperson for more details.
